if you are referring to the first track that played - i liked the sound of it untill the first synth kicked in, which i found a bit on the cheesy side and a bit predictable - the melody could be more interesting (a bit less hands in the air) - i thought a lot of the percussion and other noises that came in after that were a bit too obvious if you know what i mean - a bit too clean as well. Try using percussion that you don't hear everywhere and try processing it a bit more - also some of the rhythms were a bit obvious too

great kick drum though with a nice amount of reverb - you're definately heading in the right direction just try and think outside the box a bit more

i haven't used logic yet ... was toying with the idea of getting it to re-wire into ableton, but now live 7 has sidechaining i think i'll stick with that (plus my bank balance is feeling the upgrade)

a couple of things to play around with:

try sidechain compression on your basslines (to your kick drum) - will give you a nice push and pull effect and leave room in the mix for your kick

get your head round your global midi groove/swing quantisation for an extra bit of funk

keep posting your stuff up i'd be interested to hear how you're getting on
