| Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with a little music production thing I'm trying to figure out. I'll try to be as descriptive as possible since I don't know the proper name for this. When working with synths, or VSTs, some synths leave a residue sound that keeps playing even when the song is stopped and plays infinitely. Usually it is an echo type, or any other kind of residue sound. Does anyone know what this is called or how I can turn it off by tweaking in the synth settings? Any help will be appreciated! |

| Check the ADSR envelope on your vst, you probably have the sustain, decay or maybe release very high. |

certain "cracked" software is buggy.... and crap soundcards can cause audio to "hang" or play on a constant loop after its supposed to finish, just stop your audio then restart it (sonar) or reboot your program (cubase) this probably wont happen in any other program like reason.... that is... of course.... if it is what i think it is heh ![]() hope it helps! |
