| I'm trying to run Reason as a ReWire slave to Ableton Live. In the Live manual, it says to open Live, then open Reason. I am running both of these programs off of the latest model of the Macbook Pro. I have Reason 3.0, and it works FINE on its own. I have Live 6, and that works fine as well. But Reason will NOT open if I have Live running. I keep getting the "Can not open reason engine - please reinstall to make sure that the reason engine is properly installed" message!!! Now this seems to be a common problem...I've reinstalled reason about 2 or 3 times, I've restarted my computer, I've Googled the problem, I've done everything that a rational, computer literate individual would do, but I am STILL GETTING THAT MESSAGE! ![]() FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!? Thanks

| thanks for the reply, but i figured it out... i went to the propellerhead website, and i had to update to Reason 3.0.5. this installed a new version of rewire which is compatible with the latest version of Live. Apparently previous versions were not compatible with the latest Live version. as of right now, everything is running fine
