| Little sidechain style trick I've picked up through studying the demo songs ![]() From the start program a kick and bass sound, assign each of them a free mixer channel On the mixer add a peak controller onto the kicks channel, click the mute button on it to unmute it so you can still hear the kick, turn the base control on the peak section (not the lfo) to 50% On the bass's mixer channel add a parametric eq set the first eq (should be set around 60hz) on the left hand side to 230Hz, right click on the fader for this and select "link to controller", in the internal controllers dropdown select the kicks peak controller - Peak (not peak and lfo) and in the mapping formula area change it so it reads 1-input now when the kick and bass play together, whenever the kick "kicks" in the eq level drops and then goes back up again when the kick fades out ![]() you can do a similar method using the volume multiplier as well in the MISC tab of any bass synth you've loaded ![]() Hope that makes sense to someone lol
