| Again this is like cutting but instead of cutting channels Kill Switches cut bands like the bass, mids and treble. On some mixers you get kill switches and on others instead of having kill switches you have rotary's, meaning you can adjust the ammount of band you want to decrease / increase. Some mixers have both Kill Switches and Rotary's ![]() Anyway, which do others prefer to use etc? |

| never been bothered by the switchs myself, have always just used the rotary jobs |

| i use the rotary eq's most of the time but use the kills to occasionally punch between two drum beats or basslines, can sound really effective when used well, can again be overused though |
