Names Richard and Im 21 from up north of Scotland!

Been messing around with various software programmes for years and years now but now decided to take the plunge and learn how to do this for real.

Treat me like a complete novice though. Working with a PC is very different to the real thing.

Looking for a Starter Kit to get me going. something that will last say maybe 18 months before I can move on up to higher quality equipment.

At the moment it will be strictly for personal / home use so absolute sound quality is not that important.

seen a few packages with:

2 Numark TT1650
1 Numark DM950 Mixer.

Or Similar for a decnt price.

Any thoughts would be helpfull.

Coming upto Christmas im unwilling to splash out on myself aiming for a proper setup in say 18months time.
