Thumbs Up Young, gifted and ready to take on the world!

Hi,

I basically joined this forum to try and find out as much about being a DJ as possible.

I have a great love for music, and love the way a DJ can get a whole room dancing with the perfect song.

I realise this is a competitive business, yet I feel I could, and want, to try make somthing of this passion i have! So I'm here to find out how other members first got into the business and gather as much advice as possible.

If anyone lives in Leeds, or the surrounding areas, I would gladly carry Amps in exchange for a few pointers here and there.

Look forward to discussing this futher once I have been approved my admin.

Just get yourself a decent set up and keep practicing thats what i did and i've worked in most decent nightclubs in glasgow and worked in magaluf and new york, best bit of advice is just to get to know your set up and get decent tracks and keep working on it. all the best. Dj Vance. DJ VANCE

Hah! Thanks for the advice, but I would even know what a "Decent set up" consists of, thats why I was hoping to meet some1 local to show me the ropes as it were.

I wonder how many miles Glasgow is from Leeds? Lol
