The TRIPPING IN CHILE e.p. takes you on a journey to a distant place and time where the world truly feels big and mysterious. The Original version begins with a warm hypnotic melody and thick staggered synth tones. The minimal yet driving, swanky drums and chugging bass hit with force and your body moves to the infectious rhythm. "Tripping In Chile" is a truly beautiful track that can captivate the listener and rock the dance floor. The MAETRIK remix has a primal feel with the swirling effected drums from the original, overlapped with pitch shifting metallic otherworldly clangs and rubbery acid blips. The track is infused with chunky beats, funky bass and smooth unique micro percussion to drive it home. SASSMOUTH delivers a lush tribal rework, bringing out hidden elements of the original with a siren like synth call. The drifting subtleties seduce the listener and then caress them with a raw collage of bongos, congas, and micro clicks complete with an epic mix down that tells a story. PUNISHER (detroit) drops her interpretation using pitched, sliced segments and reconstructing them over layers of harmonized tones. The mix is saturated with dubby overtones and echoes of dancing drums over a throbbing kick. This is a versatile e.p. that truly captures the spirit of "Tripping in Chile". With mastering by Tim Xavier at manmade mastering , the sound quality speaks for itself.
