Exclamation Toolroom on the Thames & Toolroom Knights //14.6.08// London

‘Toolroom on The Thames’ followed by ‘Toolroom Knights’ @ Ministry 14/06 with the Best of British - Mark Knight, D.Ramirez & Dave Spoon

Summer’s come back around quickly hasn’t it? So, what with it being the season for Boat Parties and sailor shenanigans we thought why not?

Why not indeed, and in true Saturday Sessions style we’ve hired the best vessel on offer ‘The Pridella’ and plan to take to the seas (well the River Thames), teaming up with the boys from Toolroom on Saturday 14th June to host a pre-party starter as Saturday Sessions presents ‘Toolroom on the Thames’ with music supplied by the UK’s finest house moguls Mark Knight, Dave Spoon, ATFC and firm mos favourites the Connected DJs – 4 hrs of underground beats served up on the waves by the Best of British before it’s back on dry land and over to Ministry for 11pm to carry on the night with a further 7 hour Toolroom audio assault.
Keeping it a strictly homegrown affair it’s a UK takeover in the box with 3 of the lands finest DJ/PRODUCERS taking to the helm for some good quality, underground house – Mark Knight, Dave Spoon and D.Ramirez come forth and fly the flag for all that’s great with this country’s dance scene, you boys make us proud to be British!

This month’s Toolroom is an extra LARGE event as Spoon celebrates the launch of his forth coming Toolroom Knights mix compilation (out 21st July) and we look forward to another 3hr DJ/VJ set courtesy of Mr Knight who’s been busy trekking the globe, touring his latest album. Once again we’ll be visually entertained as he adds those awesome, custom visuals to carefully selected beats.

Over in the Bar it’s more of an international affair as Toolroom’s Wunderkind Bart B More brings his Dutch courage to London and mixes it up with Canada’s latest export Adam K along with house stalwart ATFC, and leaders of the new skool George Andrews and Pete Griffiths. These boys will have the floor jumpin.

So there you have it Toolroom on the Thames followed by Toolroom Knights at Ministry.

An action packed Saturday night.
