Filth’s ‘Nightmare before Christmas’
Friday December 21st sees Filth swing back into Mint Club for their huge Christmas spectacular ‘The Nightmare Christmas’ with a party so filthy it could ruin your Christmas. Think of your worse Christmas nightmare and then dress like it. Expect dark, evil, filthy sounds from headliner Miles Dyson that will keep you on the dancefloor till the new year. While Miles doesn’t sport a huge white beard or wear a red and white suit, he does deliver gifts of the musical variety and he’ll be looking to do exactly that for this very special Christmas party.
Filth does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s about Electro house music at it dirtiest – delivered by its finest practitioners up close and personal. Miles Dyson; What more can I say, This guy has been at the forefront of house and electro music for over 12 years. He runs 12 very successful records labels under his Plasmapool guise and last year was Trackitdown’s biggest selling artist. Add this together with 3 beatport number’s one and every major DJ from Pete Tong, to Steve Lawler and Eric Morillo playing his tunes and you have one very good DJ and producer.
Joining Miles bringing you some scary Christmas fun to Mint will be the Filth resident all dressed up and ready to rock the party from the word go. The delectable and expensively re-furbished Mint Club will be dressed to the theme on December 21st with dancers and Performers from MINX FX. DJs Miles Dyson and Eddi Zanetti who already as a huge following in Leeds thanks to his residency at Eyes Wide Shut will join Gav Bailey, Danny Savage and Little Bastard who all will be performing their own Christmas miracles from the DJ booth on high in the main room.
With it being the festive season Filth have also cooked up a stonking Afterparty at Wire with DJ of the moment Ed Kane joining us on this very filthy occasion. Filth has had an amazingly successful year running some of the most talked-about club nights in the UK and abroad and this one will be no expection with a dancefloor full of scary santa’s and evil elf’s.
With entry just £10 / £8 if your in fancy dress this night is a perfect Christmas present if ever we saw one.
