Storm: Flash Points 4th Birthday!! This Saturday!!

Industrial Strength Vol. 2 Launch Party

At The Emporium, Coalville

21st July 2007

9pm - 5

2199 Mad For It Clubbers & YOU!!

In a few short years, Flashpoint Records have managed to significantly alter the label landscape within the world’s hard house scene. So where better to celebrate than the club that’s significantly altering the party landscape within the world’s hard house scene – Storm.

Starting as a small independent venture between Marc Johnson and Jupe back in 2003, they’ve grown at a staggering rate to become one of the most formidable hard house labels of all time – pumping out over 50 storming releases. Undoubtedly, Storm’s dancefloor will have been graced with all – if not most – of these at some point in time, so on the 21stof July we pay tribute to Flashpoint’s epic success by throwing a massive 4th birthday party!

Headlining, the most demanded Australian export since Foster’s lager, Grady G. Conversations about this antipodean purveyor of filth have flowed across many afterparty carpets and chill-out room corridors, mainly because of his huge performance at Storm earlier this year. Harder than a foot fetishist in a Clarks shoe shop, if you like your dance music house dark and driving then you simply cannot miss this guy.

Former Storm resident, and in many people’s eyes, the KING of hard house Andy Farley has been an avid supporter of Flashpoint since its conception. The Storm faithful love nothing more than to see “the King” bash out a filthy set, and that’s exactly what we can look forward to on the 21st of July!

Defective Audio, under his various guides, has had a hand in a fair few Flashpoint releases and remixes over the past few years. His LIVE sets are a blessing to any Storm line up, and this promises to be no different. The most prolific producer within the hard house scene delivers quality performances every time and this will definitely be one to keep both ears open for.

The South Coast’s finest; Justin Bourne is another jock that has been pioneering the Flashpoint sound since day one. His relentless and driving style lends itself perfectly to the label and indeed the aural receptors of the Storm faithful, who like nothing more than pounding kick drums and dark off-beat basslines.

Frank Farrell has been the most promising youngster to rise through the ranks over the past 12 months, becoming one of the most in demand producers in the scene. With this in mind, you can imagine the kind of carnage we can expect by putting him with Ben Stevens. Ben has been tearing up dancefloors for years with his punishing brand of Hard NRG, driven by the freshest and most upfront Vicious Circle material. This exclusive offering is bound to get all serious hard heads foaming at the mouth, for what could potentially be the set of the night.

Flashpoint founders Marc Johnson and Jupe, and Storm residents Daley and Garbo, make up probably the strongest Hard House/Hard NRG line up you will see all summer.
