| Ive had a pair of stanton DJ PRO 60 headphones for a while now, but they push way to hard on the ear and fold up while mixing. Does anyone know a good pair of headphones to get for under £40 that are comfortable? |

| A decent pair of headphones will cost you £50 - £150. If you're on a budget (£15-£30), my personal suggestion would be to try one of these: SENNHEISER HD 205 - HEADPHONES (BLACK)- A PAIR OF STANTON DJ PRO 1000 S MK2 - HEADPHONES- A PAIR OF SONY MDRV 300 - HEADPHONES- A PAIR OF I have friends whom use these, and whilst they are not great, they are suitable for bedroom mixing. Personally I use a Sony DMRV-700 stick headphone on a bent handle. I had this custom made in Amercia, and can't recommend these headphone enough - best I've used. The Sony DMRV 700 headphones can be viewed here: SONY MDRV 700 - HEADPHONES- A PAIR OF If you want them custom made as a stick headphone then look here: Home Page E-mail - redboystix@twcny.rr.com Ebay Name - willuletmebuythis All costs charged include for parts and shipping. They take about 7 days to make (unless the maker has stock of course) and about7-14 days for shipping. Genuine pairs of cans are converted from two cup into a single stick (with one cup). I brought one of these custom ones ecently and am extermely impressed. Well worth it. I've attached two photos. |

I also love sony headphones, mainly because they have deep bass which isnt strictly accurate for music production, but does sound great when mixing imo. I use mdr-v500 when at home, and these cost about £55 new. Your stantons probably are as good in terms of sound quality, so maybe just use them a bit more and they will loosen off a bit |
