Default Smooth transitions

Hi, ive been djing for a good few years now and at the moment im using a Vestax mixer but i tend to find the cross faders are more suited to scratching etc whereas im full on trance. Any ideas on what mixers haave the smoothest cross faders ive been looking at Allen and Heath theyre pretty impressive. Any ideas? Cheers

i've always thought the cross faders are pretty good on vestax mixers - if you want to improve on them you need to be thinking pioneer, allen & heath, ecler or fane - a lot of mixers these days have the option of different crossfader curves which you might find useful

if you want really smooth transitions start thinking about using your vertical faders rather than the crossfader - it's a lot easier to smoothly blend stuff together

alternatively stop playing full on trance and start playing some proper music
