| hi, im in a bit of a dilemma here. i recently bought a vestax pmc-280 mixer from the US and was told that i only needed a small step down converter for the mixer to work in the UK. Once the mixer had arrived to me i tried to work it and it was fine for about an hour and then i turned it off and an hour later i went back to try and switch the mixer on and nothing was happening. From now on i am not getting any respone from the the mixer at all!!! ![]() ![]() im guessing that they have provided the wrong step down converter as it is only 45w. i was wonderign how large the step down converter will need to be. thanks |

| You need a step up convertor. US kit runs off 110V, UK is 220V. As the 280 has an external power supply anyway, you could just replace that. Looks like you need a 240V to 14V ac power supply, but I don't know what wattage you need. It should say in the manual
