| Hello all I'm new to the forum but not new to DJing. I'm in a dilemma about which mixer to opt for, i have 3 mixers which i've been looking at.I want from a mixer, Good sound and effects with CF reverse and curve for no more than £250. The first is the budgetish mixer which is the numark dxm09.(£198) sounds a good mixer on reading reviews.6.3MM l/r balanced out with all above stated and record out. The second is the soundcraft UREI 1601E.I have watched some people on you tube and read some reviews about this mixer and i have to say this mixer looks really good and sounds really good for effects and sounds and at the moment i am on the brink of buying this mixer, i did actually start thinking on the numark but doing some homework brought me to the soundcraft.Upon doing more homework brought me to the third mixer which is the KORG kaoss 202, another mixer which i have watched on various sites and read reviews, plentyful effects on this mixer. The only problem with the soundcraft and the korg is theres no record out, it's not a big problem im sure theres a way round that.(to add no power on/off on the soundcraft).Thing is, the numark only has 12 effects and some say numark mixers are crap. The soundcraft looks the dogs bollox with 25 effects, proffesional XLR outputs and despite the none on/off switch and record out that doesn't bother me, but the korg has 100 effects and looks really good but doesn't have record out and no pro outputs either. So i am in a dilemma mainly between the soundcraft and the korg for effects and the numark for value for money kind of thing. Anybody got any thoughts or pointers towards these 3 mixers or others around the £250 mark please. Thanks and regards ..................JD |
