| Can anyone help me? The right channel on my mixer is only producing sound through the left side, only noticed this the other day when the monitor was only showing one line o lights instead of 2. Am I making sense? Do I have to take my mixer apart? If I need to post model of mixer, please let me know. Thanks! John. |

| sounds like your right channel has blown. Is the mixer still under warranty? also, might sound silly but if you haven’t already make sure the master left/right knob/fader is in the center position…

| check the cable has no cuts etc in it and that it is plugged in correctly. A few years back something similar happened to me and it was because the cable was nackered. I replaced the cable and everything was fine again.

| Thanks Chris and Pete, in response - No, it's not still under warranty. I thought it was initially a problem with one of my decks, but tried the other deck in the right channel and had the same issue (I was pleased it wasn't a broken deck!) Pete - There is no 'lead' that you speak of? I believe it to be something internal in the mixer? Anyone any further clues? Cheers again - Mixless John ![]() |

| unless you or one of your mates knows a little bit about what they're doing i wouldn't reccomend opening it up to have a look there may well be a shop near you that would repair it but it might end up being more cost effective just to get a new one

| Bro, really sounds like your channel is blown. if the channel was giving you slight trouble, like quality dropping while playin then its your transistors for that channel. but if the sound was perfect and then it stopped playing then its blown... i know this sounds stupid, but put your nose really close to the outputs and smell it. if you get a burning smell then you know for sure its blown, if not then u may be lucky and its probably a break in the soldering which is caused by repeatedly plugging and unplugging of cables. i hope its break in solder for ur case, cause it costs almost nothing to fix. either way, you need to take it to an electronic shop to have it looked at... |
