| Hey everyone! Just wondering which vinyl/digital DJ softwares/hardwares people think is best. I am wanting to mix MP3's using software on my laptop through my analogue 1200 turntables. I also want a decent sound card to use with Cubase etc. I'm thinking of the Serato Scratch Live package for digital/analogue DJing however the sound card within the package I'm led to believe is not the best for use with Cubase etc. A decent sound card i've been looking at is the E-MU1616M......does anyone know of a good software package I can use with this to mix MP3's using my analogue turntables? Cheers guys! |

| Alot of my sets are laptop based I use Traktor for the main reasion is easy to midi map and saves me using a mouse. I also use Live for live remixing tho for traditional deck to deck mixing live is a bit of a pain. If you want to use vinyl to controll your laptop as well as having a sound card for cubase. Try either Virtual dj (same as numarks virtual vinyl) or Deckadance wich can be used with any time coded vinyl. Also you will need a low latency sound card look on DV247.com You will need atleast 2x in and 2xout if you need any more help give me a shout |

Mixmeister Mixmeister fusion + video is good to remix different soundfiles. I am only using this at the time, but will try to learn more about other software mixing programs. ![]()
