not used this mixer mate so can't give you an answer but Kam are a well respected make, they make average priced quality kit. I've not owned any of their kit but i have used it and was pretty impressed for what it is. The only thing to be warned about is that their customer service is extremely poor, i know a number of people who have had issues with kit and not been able to contact Kam, my local dealer have also stopped dealing with Kam due to the lack of service & communication

Kam is cheap and cheerful stuff, they cater for people who want to try out djing with out spending a fortune. There products do offer similar features on the outside to more expensive brands, but on the inside is where it differs. Things like fader, circuit, fx and sound quality are of a lower standard, and things will break/detereorate/snap...etc sooner rather than later.

buts thats all good really, if you end up taking djing more seriously you will be wanting to replace you kit with better stuff within a year (trust!)....or whenever your bank balance lets you. And if you decide djing isnt for you...you havent shell out that much cash anyway

my first set of decks was a set of second-hand kam belt drives, and they serve there purpose....got me hooked on djing then i bought a set of direct drives within a year...passed on the old kams to a mate........

my 1st DJ Kit was the homemix thing which you can get in argos etc. lol. Before that i used to play tracks on one cassette deck and a cd player trying to be as smooth as possible on my transitions between tracks, and fading using volume buttons lol, great times
