I would totally recommend the Sennhieser HD25sp. There at the top end of your budget, but they are super light weight, awesome sound quality and all the components are replaceable.

I mate has had the HD25sp(which im using currently) for about 4-5 years and ive only had to replace the cable so far! sound quality still crystal!

I have the sennheiser hd25 mkII and they're awesome, just outside of your price range but if you're willing to spend a little more, theyre well worth the money, i'm on my 2nd pair in two months, but that's only because the 1st pair got stolen............Sony mdr v-700's are great too
