- Stuart AKA Beefy-stu has been in and around music since the age of 13 when he first acquired a copy of a Electro Crucial on Cassette which opened the gate to a whole new world. In 1984 the U.K. hip hop scene was beginning to emerge and locally he networked and hooked up with now long time old friend Nick Annies and helped to promote Local Hip Hop events.
Following on from this he set up his own mobile out fit “Soul Sensations” and went on the road for a couple of years. This lead to a first residency in 1988 at a pub once called the Haywain in St Ives where they shared a few alternate weekends with Nick an Lanx AKA “Shade of Rhythm”.
