Default How long do you prefer DJ mixes to go on for?

Well, normally 3 hours + is too long.

Do you only get time to check out shorter mixes of say 1 - 2 hour?

Some prefer short mixes where as some prefer longer mixes as they get to hear what the DJ can do e.g. build a long good set.

Personally I like mine to go on anywhere between 2 - 3 hours. Sometimes I can quite happily listen to a mix that goes on for 3 1/2 hours + if it's good?

Erm well most of my mixes I have on ma pc/cd's are usually bout 1/2 Hours

I can listen to a long mix, I can listen to a short one

But probably a mix around 1 Hour satisfies me for the moment

Ok then how about when putting demos together, not for sending out to clubs as such just demos that you've put a lot of time into which your online / offline mates can check out

1 hour? 2 hour? 3 hours +

Well I keep it around the same time too, I suppose.

Ive only ever done given 1 CD out to mates and stuff, that was compiled of 3, 20 Min mixes. Hardcore, Trance & Hard House.

But probably about the same really. When mixing it if I think thats it, then Id end it, but If I thought I could cram another half hour, hour or 10 mins in then I would.
