 looking for gigs, London
Feeling the need to play out a bit more. I play a mix of styles: jazz, funk, hip-hop, reggae, dub, leftfield, rock, electro - a bit of everything really. Do a bit of beat-mixing, but more into playing a varied set and dropping the right tune at the right time. Have played in various venues around London, including Clockwork, Big Chill Bar, Dragon Bar, The Tabernacle, Harlem. Not really in it for the money, but appreciate my cabs being paid for (I'm a sucker and still carry records!) and a free drink or two! I don't really have a mix CD, since there's so much damn good music that I can never choose a definitive 80min selection. Some random egs of stuff I'm into are:
