Just a general thing here to provoke some discussion.

How much a month do all all spend on music for your boxes on average (vinyl or CD)? How many peices do you buy? Where do you ge it from?

For me, it varies, but I usually buy at least 1-2 records a week. What genres do you get? For me it's mostly house, but I have everything in my box (the only thing I've not got at the moment is my own decks ).

probably inbetween £80 and £150 a month but that's just guessing

mainly techno, some reggae and a tiny bit of minimal/tech house

i try and buy from record shops where possible otherwise it's juno, chemical and kinetec for the other bits i need

all on vinyl - although i have been toying with the idea of downloading the few bits i'd like that will never come out on vinyl - it just feels a bit wrong

probably about £40 on mp3s a month- £10 a week which gets me about 10-12 tunes on djdownload.com or about 8 tunes on trackitdown.net

I like to buy vynil as I enjoy using it but this past month I havnt bought any. Maybe next month Ill buy a couple more tunes
