Hi there. Im Dale. and ive just recently expressed an interest in DJing after being to Ibiza for my first time this year (which was awesome btw).

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to start out and stuff and what decks/equipment etc. you would recommend.

Im into trance and hard trance mainly but not really fussed about what type of music i listen to.

well, your first decision will have to be the media you play your tunes on

Do you want to mix on vinyl? cd's? or use software?

yeah, the 1st step is to decide what format you want to use, then you'll need a mixer. Buy to your spec, do you need 2 channels for 2 decks, or 4 channels (decks and cd decks) ? Are you using software, if so you'll want a hardware / midi controller. Do you want built in effects or just a simple mixer? How big or small is your budget ?
