only from miss-moneypennys, non others yet. if i dont in the next couple of days i will start phoning them. Depending on price i might be able to front the hire/booking money, and we can sort out from there.

Nar, any profits made will be used to pay for travel expenses
The rest goes in the kitty - with the kitty being my bank account

i think Chris means flights, petrol, stuff like that, he only said that so he can get free flights their. I reckon any profit should go towards the next DJP night if we decide to do 1

i would have to come from down south so i think any profit IF ANY should go into next night, if we want to make things out of this bear in mind we probably wont make anything out of this we will probably make a loss, but you have too speculate to ucumulate( bad spelling i know)

I taking once we have a venue and a date, the DJ's will be chosen who are playing and someone will do the programming ?

Also what about a DJ competition for the site and the winner gets a slot on the night perhaps ? Jus an idea, would give the site loads of interest with a great prize like that !

Jus a suggestion tho,

BTW do we have a date yet or are we just going to see whats going around the time we want and take one of them night

i think most DJ's who are on the site who want to play will get a chance anyway, so a DJ Comp mite be a bit pointless before then. Still think a DJ Comp is a good idea though, the winner basically gets best DJ on the syt accolade

Yes but I was just thinking that the prize would attract more DJ's to the site etc, obviously us regulars would get the first chance if we wanted to spin but if there was a comp that had a prize that good, there would be literally loads of DJ's in the comp, and on the site/forums

i'm into helping out, can lay my hands on decent soundsystem etc and would love to play. Cannot do Glastonbury weekend, the glade weekend, any of august though It's also worth remembering that the dates you are taliking about are when universities are shut and having students around always helps to boost numbers at a club night. Also i would leave a dj comp to being on the internet, personally if i was going out in brum i would nae spend my cash on going to a dj comp, i'd wanna go somewhere that looked a bit more proper and cooler than that. Remember in promotions image is everything
