I think ranking DJ's is the worst thing you can do really, ofcourse there are better DJ's than others but theres just so many good DJ's that dont get into the list, but really its what I expected, PVD, Tiesto etc

Happy to see Paul Van Dyk win it again. Was hoping to see Eddie Halliwell in the top 10 this year though.

It's Wank, there's so many great DJ's that deserve the recognition but don't get ranked high in the poll because most people just vote for the biggest names, PVD, Tiesto etc.

It's not about how good the DJ's are anymore (not high up in the poll neway). It's just a "who's got the biggest or best promotion team" poll. The DJ's at the top (and their agents, management) are canvassing for votes upto 6 months before the poll, what's the point in that, people should be voting for who they think has worked the most, and played best this year, not whoever sends them the most emails or e-flyers.

it's just a meaningless list imo, i guess it gives a certain indication as to what forms of dance music are doing well commercially at the moment; for example there is a lot more psy-trance than in previous years (i have been saying for years that psy is no longer underground lol)

bring on the top 100 producer's lists i say

www.theprouducerlist.com would be good. after all if it wasn’t for them there wouldn't be any music lol. they could do top 100 producer lists for each genre of music (no sub-genres though for obvious reasons) just a genre as a whole. would love to see how they'd go

anyway, as for the top 10 on dj list...

1 TIESTO = 134631
2 PAUL VAN DYK = 127853
3 ARMIN VAN BUUREN = 102311
4 SASHA = 90051
5 DEEP DISH = 85928
6 CARL COX = 80362
7 FERRY CORSTEN = 72854
8 ATB = 69058
9 PAUL OAKENFOLD = 63742
10 JOHN DIGWEED = 56097

that's been the same for many many years now lol

i don’t go by any other voting lists though. only ever look at the djlist.
