Default Recording A Mix

When I plug my mixer into my pc through line connections, I get a ok feedback coming through my pc. But when recording using Sony Soundforge it comes out proper wank lol all fuzzy and distored, can anyone help me out on how to get a nice sound when recording

If you have Stereo Mix on your soundcard tick the box in windows volume properties (before you start to record).

Might work

Volume properties > Options > Properties > recording then check stereo mix (if you have it) then press ok.

The recording control window would then load up select stereo mix and where you see the little markers / lines just move the slider up to the first one.

I'm only putting this straight away because this tends to be the fix for many others have said the same thing.

If this isn't the case then I don't know what it could be tbh.

Could be your soundcard, mixer leads ya know...

that happened to me b4 and all i had to do was turn down the line in ( in the audio properties)

Was the sound quality really crap and fuzzy etc when it happend to you, Im going to fiddle around abit more with the options then I'll look into other stuff if its still shite

ya man, the quality wa shit! i messed around with the options and it was fine, if u are plugging into your mic jack on the back of your pc then try ajusting the volume for that
