Cool Using Hotmail with a email client for free

Found a way on how to use a hotmail account in a email account like oulook for free heres how to do it for anyone interested:

Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird (A FREE Email Program) @ http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/

go to http://webmail.mozdev.org/installation.html and right click and save files Web-Mail-1.0.9 and Hotmail-1.0.0 to your desktop

Open thunderbird and go to Tools - Extensions - Install then install the Web-Mail-1.0.9 extension first and the Hotmail-1.0.0 extension second.

Close Thunderbird and re-open it.

Go to File - New - Account - Email Account - click next

type your name and your hotmail email address, click next

In the server info use the following settings
type: POP
incoming server: localhost

click next

type your full hotmail address as the user name, click next

give your account a name eg. hotmail, click next then finish

to send email out you need to add a smtp server, to do this go tools - account settings and select outgoing server (SMTP) from the list on the left and click the add button
enter localhost as the server name and your hotmail address as the username and click ok

now click the "get mail" button and your hotmail emails should download into the programs inbox

I tried it out earlier but couldn't get it working Karl.
When trying to log into the server the password couldn't connect to the localhost or something
