Arrow SImple mp3 editing (freeware will do) needed

I have some sound bites i recorded through my PC (just usiung a simple creative media player prduct) but it does nto allow me to edit it.

All i need to do is shorten the end, nothign more.

There must be laods, but my google searches are nto really giving me what i am lookign for.

Does anyoen knwo of any freeware stuff?

Also possibly if this goes a bit more common than payabel products you use also.

dont know any freeware, but sony sound forge 7.0
its easy and cool to use...

try Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder which is 100% free.
