| i used vista..ultimate,bussines,home and the other pieces of crap windows made! my advice...back to xp!I upgraded my system to Athlon 64 3500+ Amilo on a Asus mainboard M2N-E 540, 1 GB RAM OCZ 800Mhz DDR3,Western Digital 320 GB SATAII, Ati Radeon X1600 XT etc. I thought a had a good configuration to run Vista without problems but after i installed it...i couldn't run more that 3 apps in the background. that's one!2nd:my printer and my tv tunner which i bought with the pc weren't recognised by this shitty OS.3rd: a lot of apps aren't compatible with vista. You get something like: "This is not a Win32 valid app!" or as i encountered on my printer..."The app will close due tu unnexpected error". And above all that...the interface isn't so great as said.Of course the transparency of the windows and all that fade effect are nice but if u take a look at Mac's OS...you'll find some coincidences...or are they? Mac OS X has been released back in 2003 and looks just like Vista! What's your opinion about Microsoft now? WOW!It's just what i sad when i saw that Mac.Stick to XP! |

| I'm still waiting for some decent support for Linux then I'll shift over to that, if you want to see some impressive effects try Debian with Beryl... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1rzMT-mm_ZI |
