i personally would buy the stantons or the technics. If you go for the technics get the mark II versions, they're the best.

Thanks Its hard to find any decks here in Ireland that are not belt driven I'll have to buy them from overseas any suggestions on where to buy them and some where to get vynal

Ive used bangingtunes.com to buy cd's they have a big selection of vynal too.
I was also told about htfr Is there any other online vynal stores?

I'd recommend buying your gear from htfr or Chemical Ltd - Records | MP3 | Clothing | DJ Equipment Both of these places also stock large collections of vinyl. Htfr vinyl collection is huge. I buy vinyl from either htfr, Juno Internet Service- Value-priced Internet Service Provider - ISP - Free, low-cost and fast Internet Access or my local record shop

i'd recommend a second-hand set of 1210's if you dont want to buy new, there is always a set going on ebay.

sorry, i'll rephrase my comment: "i'm told the mark II is the best and from what i've heard it's widely regarded to be the best" but that's only what i'm told and from what i've read. Personally i prefer the stanton range
