I got a call today for a job that I applied for asking to attend an interview this afternoon, however, as some people may know that I've been having money problems. So I did not have the fare to get to the interview. The interview required me to go by bus.

So as I didn't have the fare I decided that I would try the job centre, the people that are "supposed" to help you find work. So after I got the call I went to see them and said to them that I have an interview for a job but I do not have the fare as they have phoned me at such short notice and asked if they could help. To which they replied no because its within the travel area and because im not 6 months unemployed and also that it is not a training program i am going to.

They then asked me why I did not have the money myself so I explained that in the past couple of months since going into unemployment Ive had practically noting to live on and that all or just about all of whatever benefit I am currently getting is getting taken off in bank charges and debts, the guy laughed.

so i didn't make the interview i had an opportunity to get a promising job and they couldn't help.
