A mate has a set of these and i've had a fair use of them.

the jog dial isnt that great, i always use the pitch bend buttond instead of the jog. For the scratch mode you have to press the jog dial down (it clicks) so no fancy scratches can be achieved, but basics can be done.

The effects are pretty good you have high/mid/low pass filter (controlled by jog dial) these sound ok but are not smooth. bpm flanger does its job, and can change between (1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 beat). the echo follows the flanger, but if you put the effect to max it turns into a loop. this is the best effect on the unit.

all in all: this is a good starting unit, it has the basic down pretty solid and some funky effects to play with. although if you plan on using data mp3 disc's the features are reduced quiet a bit.

Oh does anyone else think that the flanger effect (in general) is shite?!?! i cant stand them anymore
