well, the mix was 17 tracks (80 mins) and 30mins includes burn time, normalizing...etc
i try to keep the level of the tracks as close as possible while mixing, i record into my pc at a low level to avoid any clipping, then normalize the level of the whole file up at the end. I find (in audition) i have to to go over 0db to get the level of the mix the same as bought cds, which dosent seem right as once ive done the normalize and play the track in audition the clip meters start flashing (Not that i can hear anything audible)
perhaps its just audition being super fussy.
