mr devious i use to spin trance! straight up big room trance but even tho the trance of the late ninetees still means something to me i cant play it anymore. I prefer music with longer intros etc u can mix more progressivly. went thru a prog house stage but now im caught up in the prog trance explosion. Ive been a big fan of markus schulz for years and sander van doorn and im a bit gutted theyre gettin welkl earned publicity cos i kinda liked it when it was still such a new sound.
Idealy now my plans are to keep with the dark prog but start mixing the sets up with the new tech-trance sound. Club Scene Investigators - Direct Dizko (sander van doorn mix) is a good example. I wanna end the perfect set with a ch00n like that to just rags u round the room....

any other trancers in here? Tis a shame ive didnt find this forum b4, ive just sold almost all my old vinyl inc things like airscape - l'esperanza (armin mix) which went for ?50. I didnt wanna hv to put it on ebay but i had no choice. I had all the GC albums as well on vinyl! i might alienate myself now but CDJs are the future!

cheers mate! this is the first place ive put it out for review. No-one else i know is into this sorta stuff. id luv to find a night somewhere which plays it...

am gonna hv a goosey at ur stuff now.. the tracklist looks mint. a bit of SVD in there. Did u know he is also purple haze? his new remix of 4strings - diving (purple haze mix) is amazin.

I know of SVD, didn't know he went by Purple Haze too though.

I only have one track of Purple Haze's "Eden" nice track to be played in the beginning of the set somewhere (well in most of my sets anyway)

I haven't heard of the Purple Haze remix of "Diving" yet no. I've never been that keen on that track anyway though. I'll look up the Purple Haze Remix to see if it's any better.

So what sides are you from then Si?

mate u will love it (i think) and trust me u cant tell its a remix of diving at all. doesnt sound a thing like it. Actually i think it sounds like nathan fake - outhouse! now that wud be two good tracks to mix!

I meant where abouts are you from? where do you live...?

I had a listen to the Purple Haze Remix of Into The Night, it Sounds ok yeh - I'll have too look for a better sound sample though as the Juno one going at 64kbps in 22.050 mono sounds terrible it's not a long enough sample imo. Beatport let you listen to longer samples

If you want to recommend tunes to other DJ's, etc then you can post them in music forums section if you like, if you add a link to the sample it will be easier for the others to check them out :
