using both keywords dj passion and djpassion are now ranked no1 on the 1st page of google. You can also type djpassion or dj passion then click "im feeling lucky" to be taken straight to the website.

Daaam I only put in for that SEO lastnight not bad, not bad at all

Not just 1st on Google now. We are 1st on Yahoo, Msn, and Lycos too.

We seem to appear on a lot of search engines.

We could be possibly higher if we were to include sites that have already linked to us but we don't have them included in the links section of the site.

type link:djpassion.co.uk into google, this shows how many sites / web pages have links to our site.

I notice a lot of members have them in there myspace profiles, maybe if we add a section in the links page for myspace members we may improve our position for other keywords, like internet radio where at the moment doesn't appear anywhere near the 1st few pages on these search engines, only ones that do are dj passion and free mix hosting.

Googles supposed to take up to 6 months to rank a website and doesn't really go by keywords and more with the content on the site, and how relevant it is to what people what to search for.

"internet radio" does now internet radio - Google Search

Whatever Meta keywords I use google picks up on them within 3 - 4 days. So i don't think that what you say is true mate. Things may have changed since that doc was written. I've found that keywords help all search engines rank better (going by my experiments they do anyway.) just that they work for some search engines better than others
