i take it u do have both set at either 33 or 45 rpm as said above and that if they have pitch controllers they are both set the same.
also are they direct drive or belt drive turntables?
if your not sure look under the slipmat and see if there is a rubber band around a small wheel, if they are belt drives it could be that one of the motors is starting to give up the will to spin.
