Just wondered if anyone who frequents this forum is into spinning Oldskool UK Hardcore Breaks / Jungle Techno ?
I am always interested in getting to know others who share the same taste in tunage as myself. I'm not talking 1994+ happy hardcore but anything from 1988 acid house to 1993 jungle.
My favourite era of underground dance music has to be late 1991 to early 1992, to me it was an amazing time where new sounds & ideas were created on a weekly basis, the whole scene was in full swing with the best events happening, not to mention the quality and availability of the little 'things' lol !

Now Im settled with kids and that 'life' seems a million miles away, yet I still love to play and mix the music from that era, nothing else seems as good. I did start buying modern electro vinyls about 4 years ago but stopped last year when all the new releases seemed to sound the same, and it all kinda went commercial-sounding. I liked dubstep for a few weeks but quickly became bored of that too. Theres just so much variety in oldskool hardcore that I never seem to get bored ...
I would love to hear if anyone else who reads/posts feels the same way..............
