if yiu shop around on places like ebay, or messageboards you'll get some cheap cdjs or alike, although if scratching you need pioneer cdj 800s or better or similar in other brands

i got an absolute bargain on a pioneer cdj 800 mk2 - £300, and i snapped this up, this was off the judge jules messageboard
had to drive down from manchester to birmingham to collect but was worth it

just keep looking around and go second hand ones in good condition

you wont be dissapointed.

vinyl is slowly but surely diying off, and its easier, cheaper and faster to go to places like beatport, or audiojelly, buy your tracks, download them, and burn them to cd-r

they dont cost as much, are a lot lighter and dont really wear out (unless you scratch a dj, but obvious idea is to burn 2 copies of same cd, so you can both play tracks from same cd compilation, and protects you incase you loose the cd, or it gets scratched)

get saving and pay a bit extra for some scratch capable cd decks like the pioneers, or some by other brands, you wont be dissapointed, and wont regret it, plus its easier to scratch on them, and sounds just as realalistic
