| Rite...I've had this problem 'N' its making me v.mad...I have just set up my CD Decks and set up the left cd deck to ((ch1)) and right cd deck to ((ch2)) (obviously) ..leaving a spare 3rd channel and the master volume fader....Now...I'm recording a mix and and the cross fader is over to the left side BUT I can hear the faint (sometimes loud) sounds of the right deck (ch2) thorugh the right speaker...Ive fiddled with the crossfader assign switch, the reverse hamster switch, the crossfader curve ,Line Inputs nd outputs..and even the Speaker Balance... And it's still playing both songs/cd's while the Cross-Fader is to ONE side!!!This one time I was so mad that I just twisted and turned the Speaker balance and the annoying sound went..5 secs later..came back!!My mixer is a gemini ps-04 (3 channel FX Mixer)..Here is the link to a picture of it (if it helps)>>>.....http://www.decks.co.uk/products/mixers/gemini/ps04<<< Thanks for any help guys, Id REALLY appreciate it ![]() |

| simple answer is dont use the cross fader, as many crossfaders either suffer from crossfader bleed if worn, or there sometimes louder on 1 side, if u have the option to turn the crossfader off, wack it off, if not try putting it in the middle, and just rely on the up and down faders - there much more reliable and will give a smoother mix |

| it's worth having a crossfader that works

| yeah deffo, but the point being if u want a smooth mix go for the up and down faders, x faders are never reliable |

| x fader is good for cuts and that innit like to techno, dnb, harddance....well most fast beats really. good to use vertical faders to bring in/out tunes smoothly and just use the x faders for quick cutting… x fader shouldn’t wear out quick that way. as long as your not slamming the dam thing from side to side HARD it should be alright lol
