Alot of my sets are laptop based I use Traktor for the main reasion is easy to midi map and saves me using a mouse.
I also use Live for live remixing tho for traditional deck to deck mixing live is a bit of a pain.
If you want to use vinyl to controll your laptop as well as having a sound card for cubase.
Try either Virtual dj (same as numarks virtual vinyl) or Deckadance wich can be used with any time coded vinyl.
Also you will need a low latency sound card look on DV247.com You will need atleast 2x in and 2xout
