i've played lots of places that have had dicey leads, fuses etc - have learnt to take spares and always check the set up before you play - the last place i played at the previous dj's had all been using cdj's and when i checked it out i found that the turntables weren't earthed

Have played at plenty of parties where the generator has just stopped for one reason or another, had a 15k generator at one party that stopped and had big flashing lights saying earth seepage - took it back to the hire centre the next day and they flicked a switch and it worked again - gutted

The worst gig i ever played was in a small barn where the bass from the soundsystem was causing large lumps of plaster to fall out of the roof onto the decks and all my records and me - it was hard work to say the least - but a crackin party nonetheless
